We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer who is passionate about building scalable, high-quality web applications. As a PHP Developer, you will work closely with our team of developers and designers to deliver outstanding digital solutions to our clients. Your primary focus will be on developing server-side logic, defining and maintaining the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable web applications using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Build reusable and efficient code libraries for future use.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of applications.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in web development.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and methodologies.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• X+ years of hands-on experience as a PHP Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your projects and contributions.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable web applications using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with a keen eye for design and user experience.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, including database design, optimization, and querying.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively, with a proactive and results-driven attitude.
• Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with emerging technologies and best practices in web development.
• Experience with cloud services like AWS or Azure is a plus, including deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment.
• Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies is a plus, including container orchestration and microservices architecture.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a GitHub profile showcasing your work is a plus, demonstrating your passion for software development and community engagement.
